Friends of Hungry Creators

Designer Armee Campos/ melovemalaya@gmail.com/www.melovemalaya.etsy.com

We loved her stuff. Consider us big fans and patrons of Armee. She has a good eye for fresh color schemes in her little totes, purses, wallets, and etc. might possibly be cuter than Sanrio. She’s been sewing at a young age, named her small business after her daughter, and is just so darn sweet which is greatly reflected in the things she makes.

Designer Barbara Saindon/ bsaindon@cox.net

Barbara is a master at ultra clean sewing. She’s been doing crafts for over 25 years. Her fabric books surpass the kindle. Some people have even kept them for 3 generations worth. Plus they are soft and kids have the ability to fall asleep while reading without hurting themselves. Barbara makes some plush dog animals for all audiences ranging from babies to football fans. Those rabbits are topsy turvy! When you get tired of one doll, you can turn it upside down and have a completely different bunny! We’ve learned that she doesn’t waste any fabric because she makes scrap pieces into Barbie dresses. She’s keepin it real!

Scarf Extraordinare Carolina Wright/ mrswright411@gmail.com

We need the world to know all about you and your fun scarves and beanies that celebrate the Day of the Dead! Be on the lookout for her potential etsy.com site. She will be at the Boulder City Event Doodlebug Bazaar (BOULDER CITY DECEMBER 4TH FROM 9AM-4PM), so you can find something snug to hug.

Perpetual Dreamer Carlanda Williamson/lolliemagpiedesigns@gmail.com

Carlanda is funny. Hungry Creators are proud customers of her necklace. They have a sentiment of humor and heartfelt. A great gift idea. You may see similar products at Aaron Brothers and Hallmark, but Carlanda fuses a vintage and retro style. They serve as pleasant reminders that are portable and eye appealing. She’s new to the craft fair scene and will be at the Doodlebug Bazaar DECEMBER 4!! in Boulder City with friend Nancy La Bella.

Designer Jannice L. Oliveri/ jewelrybyjannice@gmail.com

If you ever want to tell someone you love them, Jannice can help you with her designs. Her heart shaped necklaces that use tiny tiny bead are simple yet glamorous. She was busy working on one while Hungry Creators invaded her booth and begged her to be recognized!

Don’t hesitate to email or contact any of these remarkable people that work tirelessly. The holidays are coming, birthdays, and think about treating yourself to that small or big gesture that is expressed through everyday crafts. Don’t waste time trying to elbow your way through the holiday season when you can have someone make something ready to order. If you prefer to contact any of these people by phone, you can email us at hungrycreators@gmail.com and we’d be happy to give it to you.

About Hungry Creators

Hungry Creators was manifested out of a need for friendship first before business. This group is where our ideas come to life to be shared with the world. At the end of the day, our greatest profit is not the money we serve to gain but the emotions we evoke by a new piece of art. We are not afraid of reinvention because we welcome all the possibilities art has to offer. In today’s world we believe art is so much more than a leisurely activity, or success stems from more forms than a business or technical degree. Hungry Creators challenges the norm tempering the talents we foster within ourselves to excel. We stand in solidarity with the time and efforts all artists and handmade craft designers do in order for art to stay authentic and alive. Today many forget the process of the things that sit on shelves in stores. We are about creating unique items in a world where most things are mass produced. Hungry Creators scratches the surface of a whole hardworking and dedicated community. We recognize the desire for art and hope that through meeting us, you get real hungry for it too.
